America and the Family Business Rule

April 20, 2019

There is an old saying in family businesses, "The first generation starts a business. The second generation runs it. The third generation ruins it."

Metaphorically, our American family business is in the third generation.

Our Founding Fathers rejected monarchy, oligarchy, aristocracy, theocracy, and formed the United States of America as a Constitutional Republic - the greatest experiment in individual freedom and upward mobility anywhere in the world. What happened?

To answer that question we must examine the historical context of the three generations.

The Squeaky Wheel Gets the Grease

April 5, 2019

"The squeaky wheel gets the grease" is an American proverb that means that whoever screams the loudest gets the attention.

The Council on Islamic-American Relations (CAIR) is a very squeaky wheel.

CAIR is the propaganda arm of the Muslim Brotherhood whose unapologetic stated objective in North America is settlement - NOT assimilation. The tactical strategy for the Muslim Brotherhood in America is documented with precision in their 1991 Explanatory Memorandum which was recovered in an FBI search of the Virginia home of Ismail Elbarrasse. The Memorandum was found among 80 banker-boxes worth of documents discovered hidden in Elbarrasse's sub-basement.

Falsely Shouting FIRE in a Crowded Theater

March 23, 2019

Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes's opinion in the 1919 United States Supreme Court case Schenck v. United States held that speech that is dangerous AND false is not protected, as opposed to speech that is dangerous but also true.

Holmes wrote:

"The most stringent protection of free speech would not protect a man falsely shouting FIRE in a theater and causing a panic. The question in every case is whether the words used are used in such circumstances and are of such a nature to create a clear and present danger that they will bring about the substantive evils that Congress has a right to prevent."
